It all started with AVA, and it ends with AVA...

The first Steffen game was released in 1998 in a small edition of 250 copies. For the 20th anniversary of Steffen Spiele and on the occasion of the takeover by Helvetiq we are releasing AVA once again in a numbered and signed special edition of 270 games. A heartfelt project of the author and publisher, and an exclusive farewell game! The game board and pieces fit into a high-quality (round!) game box with silver embossing on black fine linen. The game principle has been a part of the Steffen line for years in the boardless AVA variant, SIX. Two players take turns placing pegs in a hexagonal grid with the goal of getting six pegs of their own color in a line, triangle, or circle. It sounds simple, but it's not, as always when two want the same thing. If all pegs are placed without forming a set of six, it's on to the second round...
