We build the world - draw by draw. The global-map card game consists of 108 playing cards, which complete the global map in a grid format. This map is 18 cards wide (1-18), 6 cards high (A-F) and its dimensions are approx. 73x35 cm.
GLOBU is the first card game developing a global map on the table while playing. It is based on a piece of art supplied by the NASA that has been edited for this special and innovative purpose. With a fine mixture of strategy and the possibiltities in your hands you are persueing two goals: Completing "mother earth" and getting rid of your cards...
Strategy: Collect a longitude!
If a player succeeds in collecting all six cards of one column (e.g. cards A7, B7, C7, D7, E7 and F7) he/she can seriously impede the placing-effort of his/her opponents and thus the assembling of the world map, as long as he/she keeps the 6 cards on hand. This way, an entire longitude of our global map is blocked and nobody can place across it... Players who have collected an entire column receive an additional reward: In each draw, when a card column is open and cards are added, he/she may not only place 5 cards, but any desired number of matching cards. A great opportunity to end the game...
